As many of you probably saw on the good old gram - I chopped and bleached my hair!! Nothing like fall to go platinum blonde lol! When I first saw it in the mirror it was a bit shocking, but I absolutely LOVE it! When I look at these photos it really isn't that much blonder from when I was fully blonde a year and a half ago. It's such a refreshing change and I think it will be super cute for fall/winter with all the cute little hats and toques! As always this look was done by Calvyn at Brush Salon. 

On another note, T-minus 6 days until Toronto!!! I'm super excited because both Danny and I have never been and there's nothing I love more than exploring a new city with him. We will also be going to see Enrique Iglesias + Pitbull so I am for sure fan girling and super pumped! I will of course be documenting the whole excursion on IG stories so be sure to follow along.

Now that the weather is getting chilly I have officially started stocking up on all the cozy chunky knits. This sweater I actually picked up last year but still love it - super comfy and such a cute lace up detail in the front. I also recently received these jeans from Mavi and they have been on repeat - the fringe detail at the bottom are to die for - such a fun way to switch up your regular denim.

Well it seems as though I blinked and Fall is in full swing! Time seriously flies! I think I say this every year but Fall is my favourite time of year for fashion - there's nothing like cozy layers. I have been loving this wrap coat from Le Château for my everyday wear - super comfy and in the most gorgeous shade of blush. I can also take this right into winter with a heavier coat overtop and a great toque.

The end of summer is so bittersweet isn't it? It's sad that those care-free summer nights and days where you never take your bathing suit off are coming to a close, however, I'm so basic LOL and love everything Fall! Definitely ready to get into all the suedes, knits, and over the knee boots and pump my veins full of PSLs. I recently picked up this stunning suede skirt from  and I know it will become a fall staple - so cute with a slouchy knit tucked in the front. This sweater, also from just went on sale! I seriously wear mine all the time because I love the feel and the fit. So as bittersweet as it is to see those leaves start to Fall, I'm ready to embrace the Basic B that I am and step into the Autumn season in style.

Is it actually August 28th today?! As I type this it is down pouring rain outside and I am bundled up in a scarf watching 'comedy gold', sipping hot tea and soothing a sore throat. It's definite that summer is coming to a close and fall is fast approaching. As sad as it is to see the summer fun fade away, I've always loved that feeling of transitioning into fall - back to school, falling leaves, Thanksgiving, and all of the other exciting fall events. Don't get me wrong I adore all seasons of fashion, but I think I'm not alone when I say that fall takes the cake. The fall months are perfect for layering and mixing in colours that you probably haven't worn in close to a year. This season I am all about the berry.
