GRAPHIC + CLASSIC //

Friday, 31 March 2017

Jacket: c/o  | Tee: H&M | Denim: c/o Windsor Store | Bag: c/o  | Shoes: c/o

Can we talk about this for a second?! I am OBSESSED! It is so adorable and super budget friendly. I picked it up in blush but am planning to also snag the grey (and maybe the black too!). I have also recently fallen back in love with graphic tees (it's like the one item I constantly fall in and out of love with). I love this little tee paired with a simple  also from Le Château. Spring items are starting to roll out and there are so many gorgeous blush and floral options - can't wait to get my hands on more!

MINI SKIRT WEATHER //

Wednesday, 29 March 2017

Jacket: MACCS the label | Skirt: c/o Chicwish | Boots: old, similar | Bag: c/o Gigi New York | Earrings: c/o Bauble Bar | Sunnies: c/o ZeroUV

I love how I'm able to actually wear skirts now (even though this shoot got rained out). It shows me that there is in fact a light at the end of the tunnel. We have had seriously the longest winter ever in Vancouver. I'm so ready for long nights and patio rosé!

PS I'm wearing a medium in this MACCS the label jacket because I was feeling a bit of an oversized fit. We are also super busy trying to get our first drop of spring items out and I'm so excited to share!! New summer samples are also arriving today so can't wait to style and shoot those babies!!

Dress: Nordstrom | Jacket: (old, similar) | Boots: c/o Windsor Store | Bag: Gucci | Sunnies: c/o Zero UV

These boots have been on serious repeat, they're so comfy and look adorable with a little sweater dress. Also the weather lately has me so confused as to how to dress, I can't wait for Spring to finally arrive so we can have some consistent sun!

A HEALTHY MATCHA LATTÉ WITH TEAPIGS //

Thursday, 16 March 2017

With St. Patricks Day coming up tomorrow I thought it would be fun to put together a healthy green matcha latté to help you celebrate with teapigs

I have always loved my green tea lattes from Starbucks but never knew how easy and healthy it was to make your own at home. I love teapigs for their matcha green tea because the taste is amazing - it has a bit of a natural sweetness to it and doesn't have any bitterness like some matchas can have, it is also organic which is always a plus! I have always enjoyed a good cup of green tea and often find myself preferring it over coffee because it gives me more of a kick without the jitters. Matcha is actually even better because it is 137 times more powerful than regular brewed tea. I also love that it can be made into a delicious creamy latté just by adding in some warm cashew milk. The combination of drinking matcha and axing dairy has helped me to feel even more focused and clear minded which is essential when you are self employed and working from home.

To make this matcha latté I simply picked up a bamboo whisk or chasen which helps to diffuse the matcha into the warm water and added in some of my homemade vanilla cashew milk which I warmed in a saucepan. I prefer my lattés with minimal or no sugar but if you wanted to add a bit of sweetness, some honey or agave syrup would do the trick! I love having teapigs matcha green tea on hand because it's so quick and easy to whip up one of these to have in the morning or when company stops by!
