GETTING READY FOR A QUICK GETAWAY //

Wednesday, 30 November 2016

Sweater c/o Wildfox

Last year I started a little tradition where I take Danny away to Whistler for what I like to call our 'company Christmas party'. Because we are both self employed and no longer have a company Christmas party to go to, this is my way of celebrating our year end accomplishments and just really thanking Danny for another year of support and love!

Everytime I have a trip in mind my first stop is Expedia.ca, I have always used them to book my trips not only for the pricing but the ease of booking and options! I was able to choose the perfect destination for our little Whistler getaway.

WHAT I PACK:
- cozy sweaters, I recently picked up this and this which I brought along
- mittens, love these and these
- a warm scarf
winter coat, also brought this
- a great weekend bag
- a toque, in two colours

Thank you to Expedia.ca for partnering on this post.

Pullover: MACCS the label | Skirt: similar | Shoes: Keds | Bag: Gigi New York

I am SO excited about the new pieces we launched today over on MACCS the label! Including this super comfy cropped pullover - so perfect with a mix of dressy and casual pieces. Lately I've fallen back in love with graphic tees and pullovers so I am so excited to be doing more graphics under the MACCS label. I hope you love the new collection and be sure to follow on for our advent calendar and month long holiday fun and deals!

CULOTTES + TASSELS //

Monday, 14 November 2016

Pants: c/o NA-KD | Top: Similar | Jacket: MACCS the label | Earrings: c/o Bauble Bar

This look is so out of my comfort zone but I am so into it! First of all I never wear culottes and I never wear tassel earrings, I also never wear my hear pulled back! But I am loving it! It's so fun switching things up and changing your look. I think I'll start wearing tassel earrings more often.

WIN TWO TICKETS TO THE CRÈME DE LA CRÈME GRAND WEDDING SHOWCASE //

Friday, 11 November 2016

I am so excited to be partnering with Countdown Events to giveaway two tickets to their Grand Wedding Showcase - Crème de la Crème. I attended this showcase when my sister was getting married and it is definitely a can't miss for all Vancouver brides! Not only is it filled with amazing vendors and gorgeous inspiration but you can also taste some of the yummy food options as well as indulge in their opulent fashion show. It really is the perfect day out with your best girls! When my sister and I went I loved exploring all the different vendors, snapping pics in the photo booth, and sampling some of the delicious treats (Hugo's Churros will be there!). When you're done exploring the showcase, pop over to a restaurant and celebrate the bride to be with a bottle of bubbly - the best day ever!

To enter to win, visit me on instagram  and tag your best bride to be - that's it!! The winner will be announced Monday November 14th - Goodluck!

BEGINNING TO BUNDLE //

Wednesday, 9 November 2016

Jacket: c/o The Gap | Top: MACCS the label | Denim: c/o  Old Navy | Boots: similar | Purse: Forever21 (sold out, similar) | Toque: Forever21 | Sunnies: Amazon

How are we already into November?! I absolutely love when the weather gets colder and the holiday festivities begin. Danny will tell you that I am the worst at dressing for cold weather - I always think it's going to be warmer than it is. This year I'm focusing on great quality, cozy coats to keep me warm through the season. I love this super warm and versatile coat from The Gap - easily thrown on overtop distressed denim and a plain white tee or a holiday party dress.

Dress: MACCS the label | Top: Club Monaco | Necklace: c/o Bauble Bar | Shoes: c/o  | Bag: Prada

I don't know about you but I still can't seem to get enough of the 90s trend. I am loving satin right now and love how this feminine slip dress looks with an edgy choker and some great boots.
