Glory hallelujah! My hair isn't fifty shades of GREY anymore!! Let me rewind.. As I'm sure many of you know I've been blonde for quite sometime now. I more recently went down the ombré road with dark roots and vibrant blonde ends, about 3 months after doing so I decided I wanted my blonde hair back so I booked an appointment, spent hours in a salon chair and voilà! There was just one slight problem.. I HATED it! The blonde was all wrong, it washed me out, and frankly made me look like I was twelve. This all took place just days before my sister's engagement party. I knew I would never be able to get another appointment on such short notice, so I did what any desperate girl would do.. I bought.. box dye. I KNOW!! Horrible. When I first washed, dried, and styled my hair, I thought it was great! It must have been me getting all wrapped up and excited in something NEW, because really, it wasn't all that great. My hair was grey. I thought there was no rescuing my poor hair. Between highlighting, dying, styling, all in a matter of days, my hair was dead. I made an appointment with Calvyn from The Style Lab on Cambie street in Vancouver. I'd seen his hair transformations on instagram (), and knew he'd be able to help. Well, I can't gush enough about how much I LOVE my new hair. Calvyn did such an amazing job! He brought life and vibrance to my dull, dead hair. And bonus, not only is he super talented, but he's probably one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, making my first Style Lab experience so wonderful.
